This program is presented by a panel consisting of an Appellate Division Justice and experienced practitioners who are or have been members of the Committee on Character & Fitness or the Grievance Committee and a defense lawyer who represents lawyers and judges. Using hypothetical scenarios, the Panel will provide an overview of the applicable Rules of Professional Conduct and Rules of Judicial Conduct, as well as precedent and recommendations as to best practices when issues relating to civility and Artificial Intelligence arise. In addition, there will be an overview of best practices in dealing with the Grievance Committee.
